Not sure how many of the invited members have signed up for this yet! Was my plan not to post, but thought someone needed to get the ball rolling.
We had a comment about Christmas (see post below).
Our discussions on Monday were around mission, youth, racial justice, ministry in our multi-cultural city. So how do we do Christmas? Should we bemoan the "de-Christing" of it in the wider culture or encourage that so we can get back to the real meaning? Is it just part of the shift to us becoming church on the margins and is that a good thing?
Any thoughts on Christmas in London? Practical ideas welcome too!
And if you've joined the blog feel free to post or comment - it's here for you.
